Stupid oil question.....

Its time to do an oil change on the Jeep this weekend. One small detail is bugging me, though. I neglected to bring the case of oil from the garage into the house before winter hit.

The stupid question is....can I still use the oil? The bottles have remained unopened all winter in an enclosed garage, subject to temperatures from zero to 60 degrees. My initial thought is no problem, the oil already in my Jeep's engine faces the same rigors.

But that little voice in my head is still questioning....

Of course the oil is fine, it lived in the ground for a few million years so a few months in sealed containers is fine, the only thing that could happen to oil is to have moisture introduced and 20 minutes while the engine is running at 160 degrees or hotter will cook off any moisture in the system, change your oil with confidence
