intake/exhaust manifolds and copper sealant?

I am installing the exhaust and intake manifolds on my 4.0 XJ. In the past on other vehicle's exhaust manifolds I have used Permatex Ultra Copper gasket maker and was going to on also on my XJ but since the gasket is also for the intake I an wondering if it is OK. Has anyone ever used Ultra Copper on their XJ?

I just put the fel pro on dry and haven't had a problem yet. But if you are worried about pitting or something a light film on both sides of the gasket won't cause any problems.

I wouldn't use anything either, your biggest concern would be if the sealer is O2 compatible.
