i know i dont have the optimum axles but this is what i have to work with: a d44 and d60 from a 1972 f250, a few questions i have.. would i benefit a lot by stepping up to 35 spline shafts or is keeping the 16 spline strong enough, and does anyone know where i can get disc breaks for the d44?? if not i think ill just look for a late 70s hp d44 or try to adapt something, but they have the closed knuckle system

i probly should take the hint b/c i cant find anyone that runs a 72 d44
