Trouble with AAL

So I bought a set of Rubicon Express 1410 add-a-leafs and I'm having a helluva time installing them. It seems like the new leaf is too long? When I line the center pin holes up with the rest of the leaves it hits the front eye of the upper spring, any ideas? Should be simple enough but I'm stumped!

The add a leaf goes under the main leaf along with the rest of the leaves you measure from the center hole to the end of the leafs longer end points to the rear

OK that doesn't sound like what I'm dealing with. It looks like a 3-part top spring, with the front eye one the top and bottom wrapping around the eye of the spring they're sandwiching?

Those are not factory style springs.
