auto to manual swap

Looking to see what i'll be getting into when the time comes. The transmission on my 99 classic is starting to go out and i've always wanted to put in a manual transmission. What kind of parts will i be needing to get and what kind of price am i looking at once finished?

Are you sure it's the tranny going out or another problem? Which tranny do you have? The AW4's can seem like there going out when it's a TPS instead.
