blower motor...

i have a 1989 cherokee laredo 4.0ltr and the fan only works on high. where is the resistor located so i can replace it?

passenger side, under the glove box. There is a cover that needs to be removed, four screws, two are a bit tricky to get to. I removed the cover (same problem) and just never put it back on.

Yup...."Green" is right. Passenger side under the dash. It's bear to get to, but a cheap part. Mine had the same symptoms...only worked on high. Looks like a board with 3 or 4 springs connected by wires. Cheap part...pain in the butt (back?) replacement. Good Luck!

Interestingly enough, my chiltons manual shows the part...but not in the section about heater controls...in a totally unrelated section (I don't remember which).
