Waggy D44

I'm about to pickup a waggy D44 alxle housing for my XJ for $50. The housing has already been cleaned of all the old mounts and ready for rebuild.
The question is, I need to find knuckles now and what type to use.
Also I run only 4.5 " of lift and 33's so I think that the low pinion should not be a problem.
Any suggestion on knuckles

Chris

You can just use waggy knuckles spindles and hubs, they are 6 on 5.5 wheel bolt pattern.

You can also go the ford 5 on 5.5 route or the Chev 6 on 5.5 route.

There is no stock D44 knuckles with the same wheel bolt pattern as XJ's

There's alot of info. in the FAQ section

Actually, I think you can find mid-70's dodge 1/2 ton D44 knuckles that are 5 on4.5, but I think the unit bearings they use are iffy (no lockout available in that pattern)...

OK I'm back, Well i just noticed that I posted this thread in the wrong place, OOPS
Iv'e got the front D44 in my hands know and need to figure out what year housing it is.
Is this correct, the early (before 1980) were all passenger side pumpkins and 1980-up were drivers side?
And what lenght axles, I found these specs digging around.

inner shaft driver side 15.8", 30 spline
inner shaft passenger side 32.12" , 30 spline
outer shafts 9.94" , 19 spline - bothsides
