In an effort to maintain solidarity

with those friends and family living under the Newsom regime, we decided to spend our time this afternoon gardening.

Lawn aeration to be specific.

Re: In an effort to maintain solidarity

My Neighbors were playing this the other day. I told them that in my day the person with the highest score got to play "goalie" and try to block the other teams darts.

They didn't laugh either.

Re: In an effort to maintain solidarity

In one regard I know I failed as a parent. And there is no going back to fix it now.

When The Varmints were small and cute and people used to ask them "What do you want to be when you grow up?" I should have instructed them how to answer. With answers such as "I want to grow up to be an olympic javelin catcher", or "I want to be a world famous nauga hunter."

Sigh.

Nothing to be done about it now.

^^^^^^ Brilliant. It's unfortunate that, sometimes, genius strikes too late.
