i put a 97 in my 89. went right in.

When I tried to put a late model one in my 93, I ran into some slight issues that could probably be resolved easily. The headliner has tab things near the molded in soundbar that fit into slots in the sheetmetal. My 93 was not setup to accept these. It was close, so maybe with a little creativity you could get it to work, but I was too short of time to play with it.

yeah I just installed a '97 headliner in mine...but that does'nt really answer your question...looking at how they roll more on the later models id say with mods it could be possible....do a write up for the next guy like you
