Hesitation Problem

99 sport w/120,000 miles
When I am speeding up I get a hesitation. It only does it when I am at higher speeds. At idle it is fine. When I have my foot in it, It feels like it is cutting out a few times before I get up to speed. Any Ideas?

I would first try a good fuel injection system cleaner.

whens the last time you changed your plugs, wires, cap, and rotor? sounds like that would be your fix.

I thought for sure that my problem was the torque converter going; it seemed to lock and unlock at speed, causing the hesitation you are describing.

Changed the plugs, cap, rotor, wires. Runs great.

Full tune up, plugs, wires, cap, rotor about 5k ago. Oh and its a 5 speed. I know that the fuel filter is part of the pump but any one think that could be the problem?
