5" Lift shocks Recommendation

I was using 14" Bilsteins

Seriously though, just measure your set up. I'm pretty sure bilstein or ranchos are a safe bet. Stiffness comes from your spring rate on the springs....

What is the budget ?

BDS, Black Diamond and DoetschTech are decent low cost shocks. Bilstein tend to be a bit stiffer, and Rancho/Rough Country shocks are garbage.

I've been running Rancho 9000's for over 20yrs with great results. I'm at 5.5" and enjoy a Cadillac ride in any terrain.

Not really sure on exact amount, but I won't buy junk and I don't need top-of-the-line expensive.

Eric how much lift do you have? I do have OME long travel now. They were on the red XJ but it's a possibility I might need new shocks. They are very, very old but possibly undamaged.

I currently have 6"

The rears are at the end of the downtravel. The front downtravel is restricted by the steering linkage, but the shocks will be the restriction after I get that fixed. Can add spacers for more
