DC Waggy 44

Still doing research on my front 44 swap... I know the disconnect Waggy D44's suck, but that also makes them cheap and pletifull. Can the disconnect be bypassed (i.e. by swapping in a late model non-disco shaft) ala D30 solid swaps? Any seal problems? Are the drivers side shafts even the same between a disco/nondisco 44?

TIA

It was rumored that it can be done, but I have yet to see it or even hear how. Unlike a 30 the disco is built into the pumpkin rather than the tube............... :wierd:

Yeah, I've seen em, but am blindly hoping someone might have actual real world experience :laugh3: Looks like I might be the guinea pig on this one!
