99 TJ brake booster and master cylinder on a CJ ?

I am fixing up an old 84 cj8. I bought a wrecked 99 wrangler for the motor that I put in the 84. I noticed that the 99 brake booster is a dual diaphragm model and would like to put it on the 84. The master cylinder on the 99 is not compatible with the 84 master cylinder so I was wondering if any one knew if the 99 master cylinder could work. Is the master cylinder bore size the same as a CJ unit ? I know the TJ uses smaller diameter brake lines. Or is there a better dual diaphragm unit to use ?
