Well after doing the Lockwood/miller jeep trail a few days ago I have decided it's time to get a diff guard for my D30, I'm not looking to spend over $120 so what's the best route for that amount of money?

Thanks guys:roll:

I want these when I have the money.

I wouldnt waste your money on one of those "skid plate". sure it may be $70 vs. $100..... but you get a whole lot more with the full cover.

Alot of people go with these for the price: http://www.rokmen.com/crane.html

Another Vote for the Ruff Stuff Specialties Differential Cover, It is bullet Proof, And Dan is really great to work with. I have had mine on now for about a year and it takes some abuse. He runs specials from time to time, and you get a discount if your a red member I believe. I have one on my 30 and on my 8.25. They are 3/8" steel, Bolt it on and forget it.

X3 for the Ruffstuff diff covers. I have one for my D30 and my 8.25. Very strong and good price.

Solid, $65 each...get 2 for the price of one.

cant argue with the price, unless you run an 8.25 (they dont make one for the 8.25)

theyre also cast, which is fine, but fabricated looks soo much better, to each his own, the prices are great though.

RuffStuff... The best out there... The D30 has a 1/2 inch ring and 3/8 thickness fully welded with counter sunk holes.

The cover will help prevent the center chunk from flexing under heavy load. They are like an open box without a lid. With the counter sunk holes it will help prevent the deflection of the chunk.

x2. the rs d30 cover adds rigidity to the diff.

RUFFSTUFF FTW! solid covers suck the break off chunks after a few hits
