Custom Longarm build for the girlfriend

So I started a build on the girlfriend's XJ, going to go custom longarm in front and piece together some components to make it happen. I figured I'd throw up a build thread for you all to see this time around. Let me know what you think as it progresses!

I started out with this last Saturday...

Her 2001 Cherokee that I bought her last Christmas, completely stock:

and then here is the pile of parts I ordered for her, along with some of the steel plates I started cutting for the custom stuff:

I got a bunch of different parts from different companies, here's a list off the top of my head...

  • Iron Rock Offroad - Center Unibody Frame Stiffeners
  • Iron Rock Offroad - S.S. Brake Line Set
  • Doestch Tech - Shock Set with the bumpstops built-in
  • Rough Country - Slip Yoke Eliminator Kit for the NP231
  • Rough Country - Rear Shock Flag Nut kit
  • Rough Country - Rear CV Driveshaft
  • Rusty's Offroad - Front Track Bar
  • Rusty's Offroad - Front 4.5" Coil Springs
  • Superlift - Superride 2.5" Rear Leaf Springs
  • Custom - I'll be making my own Transmission Crossmember/Link Mount
  • Custom - I'll be making rear extended shackles
  • Custom - I'll also be making new rear spring perches

I think that sounds like most everything. I'm going 4.5" front springs, then 2.5" rear springs with a longer rear shackle and taller spring perches to bring the rear up to the 4.5" height as well. Hopefully it all works out.
