Upgrading the alternator....

I need a more powerfull alternator and dont wanna spend the $$ on a mean green,, so is there another option?? Im looking for say 140 amps minimum at the cheapest option.

Supposedly 1998 Grand cherokees have 136 amp alternators and are fairly bolt on. I haven't verified it, but I'm going to run by the pick n pull soon to grab one.

They require a little grinding on the bracket that holds them in but as far as wiring goes its an easy swap.
