4wd trouble

when im in 4hi it will pop out then back in. this usually only happens when the jeep is cold. after 5 minutes of driving or so it will stay in 4hi fine.im thinking low fluid but theres snow on the ground, so im not gonna check it if i dont have to. 93 ax15 np231j

i would check the linkage adjustment first.

If you have a vacuum front axle, it may be a leak in one of the hoses. (or the vacuum ball on passenger's side under the bumper is mashed)

no vacuum ill check the linkage.
