OEM Lights "SHORT OR BLOWN FUSE"

2001 Jeep XJ, I go off roading im my jeep quite a bit but its also a daily driver (i know, i know, not too smart) anyways my front driverside parking light is out but the turn signal still works, ive tried replacing the bulbs and still nothing i took the turnsignal/parking lamp bulb and tried it in the other slot thats burnt out, still nothing. soo what im getting around too is asking if anyone has any idea if its a blown fuse or a short because i dont want to chase a short down for nothing.
