Killing My Lock-Right?

Occasionally, my rear pass side brake locks up when it is wet weather. When this happens, that lock right doesn't like it and gives me a real good grrrrrrrr instead of the normal click-click-click as when cornering. Is there any concern here for the life of the locker? And I can seem to figure out why it is locking up....real anoying.

Mine does it too,and under the same conditions.
You might try pulling the E-brake a notch or two to dry the brake lineings.
The lock-right has been in mine for 130K so it must not do any damage.

130,000 miles?!?......WOW......still works good? It is just anoying when it happens.....maybe I will take everything off and clean/lube it real well or maybe I just need to get better shoes. They are just the cheapies.

I think it is just a bad design on the brake drum. They don,t keep the water spray out.
