Drag link ball joint spitting grease

I finally replaced my tie-rod ends.

As I was greasing up the ball joints (Slowly), 3 of the 4 took about 20 pumps before grease started oozing out from under the boot.

The drag link to steering knuckle took about 3 pumps before a shit ton of the original and new grease shot out the side. The boot doesn't seem to swell, and grease just comes out the side when I pump.

I'm guessing the boot is torn or something?

Is it possible to just get a new boot/seal, or do I need to replace the entire drag link? Annoyed as I just bought this drag link from NAPA.

If it is torn, take it back and get another one.

Called NAPA and the part has a lifetime warranty, so they will swap it out.

Dorman has replacement boots in the Help! catalog, but its actually more effort than just replacing the TRE
