ExTankerGuy's '87 Waggy

Thought I would throw this in here...

All stock...My Dad bought it new back in 87. When I got it, it had 315,000 miles on it!

3" lift with 31s...

After I added the lift, I got 4.56 gears, and ARB lockers front and rear.

Same lift with some trimming on 33s.

Then I went with 4.5" lift with 35s. AJs Bumpers, rails, and TNT customs bellypan.

Made my front doors removable and got another set of wheels. (got rid of my spacers)

Got an awesome deal on a front 44 so I upgraded tires and wheels after the front axle swap

I think this is current...
1987 Jeep XJ Wagoneer
4.0 litre 6 cylinder
AW4 Transmission
NP242 Transfer Case with Novak transfer case shifter and Tom Woods SYE and drive shaft
37" Pitbull Rockers
15x10 Aluminum TrailReady Beadlocks
4.5" lift
Chevy pickup front brake lines
Late model brake booster/master cylinder
Rusty's adjustable upper and lower control arms
PSC performance power steering pump
Durango steering box
Brown Dog Offroad Poly motor mounts
TNT Customs track bar
ARB air compressor w/tire inflator kit
D44 front axle w/5.38 gears, Detroit locker, alloy shafts, Nitro Excalibur u-joints, Chevy flat top knuckles, crossover steering
(all brackets have been moved up so nothing hangs below axle tube)
D44 rear axle w/5.38 gears, Detroit locker, alloy shafts, custom high clearance shock mounts
Rockcrusher rear diff cover
Riddler front diff cover
AJ's Off-Road Armor front and rear bumpers
HD Offroad Engineering Hybrid Cage
HD Offroad Engineering front stiffeners
TNT Customs HD skidplate/belly pan
TNT Customs unibody stiffeners
HD Off Road Engineering Shackle Relocators
"Joel Built" custom gas tank skid
LED rock lights
Warn X8000i winch w/Masterpull Synthetic Rope and 12 Volt Guy in cab control
Optima Red Top battery
K&N open element air filter
Flowmaster 50 series muffler
Tube doors
Hunsaker Icon Seats
Uniden CB w/weather radio
Numerous beauty marks
Trail Rated Badge

Futures mods...

Atlas
hydro assist

Now that you're back in Indiana and Close to Redbird, you need to make that thing a little uglier!

Re: ExTankerGuy's '87 Waggy

That would be correct. That picture was after I got it and it had 315,000 miles on it.

Re: ExTankerGuy's '87 Waggy

Good eye rocker, its still a great pic.

I have one of mine laying around somewhere when I took possession, with fiberglass running boards and a windshield visor.
