Just changed the drivers side motor mount (broken) wanted to change pass. side. Do you have to remove the oil filter adapter housing to get the long bolt out?

Yep, you have to remove the filter and housing. I just did mine last night.

Since you are pulling the oil filter adaper off, it is a good idea to pick up the set of 3 O-rings that go in it from the dealership. When i pulled mine out they were pretty brittle.

When I changed mine out, I did not remove the oil filter adapter. It is much easier to remove the (2) bolts and (1) torx bolt under the mount. This will remove the entire mounting assembly from the block. Just be sure to support the motor with a floor jack and a block of wood. Don't lift the motor with the jack, just support it. Hope this helps...

I guess it depends on the year. I did not have to do that on my 97

Thanks for the info mine is a 90 with 172'000 so I will order the orings and reseal the adapter at the same time.
