Several of us (including me) are rocking a baofeng uv-5r

I've got a Wouxun model KG-UV8D...Ham radio.

The only thing about it is that the screen will go dark while you're using and I'm not sure why lol

Will it accommodate a class A RV?

I'm not sure how to do that lol. I'll see if I can find out how. I've looked online for this issue and there is nothing out about it.

Also, the charging light doesn't work, but it will charge...slowly.

I'm not sure. I would give them a call during business hours and see. There is Lake Bridgeport that is close by that has camping and I believe they have RV sites.

We can dry camp anywhere, as long as our hounds are allowed and everyone else is staying nearby.

I found the menu option and then figured out how to adjust the settings. Was having a hard time figuring out which buttons do what.

Now I have it set to not turn off while it's on.

I was about to buy a mic for it and then realized that I bought one last year, thanks to Amazon saying, you bought this item <date> lol

Found it in my HAM stuff location...I think I'm set now...at least for comms
