i have the re3.5 super ride kit with a 1 3/4 spacer in the front. the kit came with only the fixed lower control arms. can i run that and my stock uppers with the drop brackets?

Here is Rough Countries instructions for there drop brackets. Near the top of page one it has control arm length suggestions.

Yes you can.
You can run either stock or aftermarket arms with the brackets. I run rough country's lower flex arm's and stock uppers until I can afford adjustable uppers. It works fine. (it's best to have at least upper or lower adjustable arms to get the pinion angle good but you can get by with the adjustment slot in the brackets.)
