Took my 94 out this past weekend and while driving on the highway (not even on dirt yet) I noticed my temp climbing over 220. I stopped and checked but it didn't seem that hot. I get home and check the cooling system and everything looked right and no leaks. I got to check the resistance of the temp sensor and sender (the one wire sensor on the back of the head) and the readings are way different. The temp sensor in the thermostat housing is within spec but the gauge sender is WAY different.
Are those two suppose to have the same resistance readings or are they completely different? If they are different, what is the specs for the gauge sender?
