Re: 93 XJ BUILD (WITH LS SWAP)

Was painting the headers last night and went to shoot some of the white paint and the can was just spraying speckles, so I just said oh well and went with It... I was going for a red, white and blue theme.. Also got some ICT brackets in for power steering and alternator relocation. if things go as planned ill have it dropped in over the holiday weekend and be running all my fuel and brake lines.

I haven't put the alternator on yet but that will hopefully be today.

Re: 93 XJ BUILD (WITH LS SWAP)

Got the alternator mounted up, i like it, sits pretty low. I may eventually go with an LS1 style intake but for cost right now I'm just going to chop the hood up little and do a cowl hopefully it comes out ok.

Thanks! It's been a very long road. Still have to pull the trigger on a trans and picking up a t-case on my trip upstate mid December.

Re: 93 XJ BUILD (WITH LS SWAP)

so I dropped the motor in with the L59 oil pan and I definitely see what you guys were saying about the clearance. I am looking into a hummer H3 alpha oil pan, the sump is about 13inches back, lm5 is between 12.5 and 12.75 back so I figure why not take that extra 1/4 inch. Any one else hear anything about this oil pan?

Tacked in some rod on the hood to get the contour for the cowl. Now just have top get some sheet metal for the sides and fill her in.
