Hey guys, my name is Drew. I’m your 2023/2024 SEC chapter president. I wanted to take a minute to introduce myself. Some of you know me personally, but I know a lot of you do not.
I live in Knoxville TN. I’m a technician at a local 4x4 shop out here. We specialize in everything from basic bolt on lift kits, to full blown frame off builds. V8 swaps, axle swaps, big tires, fabrication, etc.
I’ve been into Jeeps as long as I can remember. I’ve always had a soft spot for Cherokees too. I currently own 3. I have a ‘93, ‘01 and an ‘89.
My ‘93 is my daily. I have wheeled it all over the place. 4.0/AW4. I’m running a set of 05+ super duty 1 tons, Detroit lockers, 5.38 gears, IRO 3 link/4 link, IRO coils, Bilstein’s, full frame stiffeners, 2x6 rockers, XO fab cage with added tubing, Artec truss and high steer, wide open designs 1.75 7075 steering, Dirt bound front bumper and fender/quarter armor, Warn Zeon 10s winch, Antirock front, IRO rear bumper, NP231 with Advance Adapters SYE with a 5:1 Atlas on the way. Affordable off-road Rotopax window, PRP seats front and rear, 40” Mickey Thompson’s with Dirty Life 9303 wheels, etc.
My ‘01 is running a 4.0/AW4, 05+ Super Dity’s, IRO 3 link and coils, leaf’s rear with SRB’s, Bilsteins, 40” Toyo Open Country’s and Dirty Life Mesa race beadlocks.
My ‘89 is currently in pieces. It’s getting built up to race in the 4500 class in Ultra4.
I’m looking forward to doing my part to continue the
forum that’s been to helpful to us all. I’d like to get some rides planned soon if everyone would be interested.
