New project EB

Replaced the valve covers and air cleaner on the Bronco today and I'm pretty sure my uncle was wrong - this isn't a crate motor. I remember my cousin telling me years ago the he had the engine rebuilt but didn't give details. My uncle is sure that it is now a 302.

Imagine my surprise when I pulled the valve covers and found this:

World Products Windsor Jr. Heads with Comp Cams 1.6 roller rockers!! I'm pretty sure the cam is also from Comp cams (wish I had the cam specs). Its also got a Pertronix Flame Thrower coil and Igniter ignition module. Rough guesstimate is its probably good for 300 - 350 HP.

Looking good Jeff!
Is there room to get a set of headers in there?
With the existing mods, I bet that would make a big difference.

Gawd that engine is CLEAN! Super nice surprise to find rollers and a cam!

I hope that's not a mistake binding those plug wires together like that.... I guess if it's an issue, you'll certainly know it. :dunno:

Knock it off Jeffrey......

You're making me want a .......... Ford.
