Rear inner fender liners

I have a 92 with about 2.5 - 3 in of lift. I don't plan on going any bigger than 30x9.5 with my tires. My question is that my liners in the rear are cracking and almost gone, are they necessary and if so, where can I get replacements? I searched and I can't find rear replacements or if they are needed.:dunno: Thanks in advance.

Not needed, but easily found in the junkyard.
If it were my jeep Ide remove your current liners and clean the inner fenders well. Then spray a good undercoating in there, cheap, easy and effective.

It has been so long (20+ Years) that I had forgotten that XJ's came with them. A pool noodle in the front fenders to keep mud from getting up by the front door is handy in some places.
