What size are the nuts that go on the studs on the collector end of the manifold...ie the donut joint...

3/8"-16 on my 87, my 88, and both 89's. I use brass - you should be able to find them at a well-stocked hardware store, boat shop, or parts house.
Why brass? Try taking them off again later - and remember what it was like breaking the steel ones loose while you do...
