I'm tired of my noisy AX5 and have the opportunity to get another one out of a '90 4x4 (no T.C. attached).
My Jeep is a 4 cyl. '96 4x2 with slow synchros that was probably filled with the factory specified (BUT WRONG) GL5 fluid.
I'll use my tailshaft and clutch slave, so the concern is spline counts between trans and T.C. / tail cone.
Also are the sensor mounts different between the two, or does everything just swap over.
Will they interchange and / or what needs to be changed?
Is there anything else I should be aware of?
