what do you think the large evap leak could be? this info. was pulled from a code. and i am wondering if any of you have had this problem?

Gas cap and/or the rubber couplings along the evap route has dry rotted.

Get the gas cap from Mopar or you will just end up buying gas caps every few months.

Get 5/16's I.D. gas rated hose from any parts store. About a foot should be more than enough to replace all the cracked ones.

Could be anything from the gas cap to the charcoal canister.

A thorough inspection of the entire evap. circuit might be helpful. Look closely for cracked vacuum lines.

If you can't find, many shops can "smoke test" it. They introduce smoke into the evap system and then inspect to see where it is escaping. Works quite well.

Good luck and let us know what you find!
