Rock Sliders; Weld or Bolt On?

I am considering AJ's SuperSquare Rockrails.

Do you suggest that they be Welded on or Bolted on?

I'm not a welder, and am leaning to bolt on, but would like to use them for hi-lift jacking if necessary.

Thanks, you guys ARE the EXPERTS.:patriot:

The pinch seam is what carries most of the load.As far as "bolting" them on,do just that(use bolts not self-tappers).

Bolt on is the way to go. It is very important to bolt to the pinch seam, as this is where the sliders gain most of their strength. People have been beating on our bolt on sliders for years and have yet to hear about one getting ripped off!

I have AJ's Super Sliders and I bolted them on. If you have worries, you could do what I did and on the bolts that go into the body "rail" I just tacked each bolt head to prevent it from coming out... Make sure you spay paint all the bolts/holes to prevent rust!
