...and I am running for the position of Director of the Midwest Chapter of North American XJ Association.
I have been involved in since 2001 when I attended my first event in Tellico TN., for the Cherokee Crawl. I became involved in XJ's during the winter of 2000 when I was preforming a frame up restoration of a 79 CJ-5. My dd at the time was a 95 Mustang GT and I knew I needed a winter vehicle. The local dealer had a 93 Cherokee Country with a small lift on their lot and I thought it would be 'cool' to have a Jeep as my winter ride being I was restoring a Jeep of a different nature. Later that winter I read an article in one of the rags about and the Cherokee Crawl. I later went to the website and gained tons of information on what now has become my formost addiction.
has become more to me than a club, or another 'Jeep website', it has become a place I can come to to bs with people that have become life friends, and still learn the latest upgrades to my already modified XJ. has become a huge part of my life, one that I will never leave.
My need to become more involved in is why I am running for the position of Director. I want to see the growth and stability of the club be a more personal agenda for myself. As Director, it will allow me to do this.
I surf many Jeep sites, I post on few. is my home.
As your Director, I will do my best to keep and her members a priority.
