So I finally got my project jeep finished! It took about 4 months from pulling it out of the field from where it had been sitting for 8 years to running it at Redbird State Park. It started out as Project Stuart Little and is now officially deemed Project Mighty Mouse. This was an extremely huge project especially regarding the fact it was completely stripped, engine rebuilt, axles rebuilt, hours upon hour of welding, and all the countless trial and errors.

Engine
- OE rebuilt block from a 1997 painted Chrysler hemi orange just for fun
- stock head from a 98(?)
- 4 hole dodge stratus injectors
- wiring from a 2001
- camshaft synchro and coil pack from a 2000
- JEGS 6-2 headers
- stock “downpipe” and cat to thrush muffler (cheap and quick)
- custom intake
- daystar motor mounts

Axles/Driveline
*Front
- High Pinion D30 with welded inner sleeves and upper c-gussets. I have lowers and have a truss, just didn’t have time
- stock brakes
- extended brake lines
- stock axles (for now) with spicer non-greasable ujoints
- USA 4.88 gears
- solid industries diff cover
- spartan lunchbox
- *I think* rough country adjustable track bar (it was on the HP D30 when I picked it up)
- Rusty’s track bar mount

*Rear
- Ford 8.8
- trussed
- solid industries diff cover
- Yukon F88 ultimate kit (chromo c-clip eliminator axles)
- stock disc brakes
- USA 4.88 gears
- spartan lunchbox

- Running two stock front driveshafts
- SYE kit

Frame
- middle frame stiffeners
- front 3 link
- temporary rock sliders

Suspension
- ~6” hand me down lift which includes front coils, rear leafs, and extended shackles
- front Doetcsh Tech shocks (will probably change down the road because the bodies are big and limit up-travel)
- rear bilstien shocks (only because the body’s of the D.T. were too big)

Steering
- 1 ton links and ends on straight links

Exterior
- rear tube bumper
- front winch bumper (we should have used the bumper plates to tie it in but ran out of time, you’ll see why in the pictures)
- amazon led headlights
- the rest just stock for now minus two front flares (need to clearance the fenders still as well)

Interior
- Full stock minus a headliner

Wheels/Tires
- as of now I don’t have any, I just borrowed some from my wheeling friends for this trip. They were 35 inch tires with 15x10 wheels.

Welding laying down and upside is difficult.

Aluminum wheels wouldnt clear the front tie rod ends even with spacers so we did what we had to.

Hopefully you learned what it takes to be a winch bumper!
