SUDDEN TEMP. GUAGE DROP
Greetings & Happy New Year Everone, 1990 Laredo 4.0 Temp. Guage needle goes to almost middle of guage and suddenly drops left to the next white line on the guage.What could be the problem? Thank you,BUS

Sticking thermostat.
Center on the gauge is 210°F. The thermostat should be open at 195°F. It sounds like it’s sticking, and not opening soon enough. When it finally does open, there is a sudden drop in temp.
