Home made quarter guards/tail light boxes, light hole size questions?
I have made my own quarter guards that extend to the tail-light boxes and i will eventually finish out boxing the housings. Until then I want to mount the quarter guards over the stock tail lights but i need to cut holes for the side marker lights to shine through(per VA insp regs).
I plan on going with LED "Truk-Lite" brand "Side/Tail/Back-up lights. What size holes do I need to punch out for the side markers? I have looked through Truk-Lite's catalog but I'm not seeing the actual hole sizes. They list 2.5" lights etc but those lights have grommets so what is the actual diameter of the hole's? Someone help me out, I sweat details like this
