Going to check out a 1993 XJ, thats all i know about it. I have a 90 XJ 4.0 AW-4 NP231. Is there anything I should watch for and is anything major different between the years?

Checking out a 93 XJ

The major differences are that the 93 will be an HO, with Chrysler injection/ignition/ECU rather than the Renix system on your 90. Also, the instruments will be all electronic rather than the mechanical speedo in your 90.
The rear axle in a 93 might be a Dana 35 or might be a Chrysler 8.25 -- and a 93 might have ABS. Rear brakes will be 9" rather than 10".
