"Custom crossmember(mounted high and inboard) ..RCP Phx,. crossmember query,.

just returned from purchaseing piece of 3/8"inch thick 8"inch wide x 37" long flat mild steel plate ($20.00 )and was thinking about fabricating a straight-across flat crossmember with modifications for the installation of some custom long-arms, similar to something I have seen on RCP Phx XJ-.I will be wheeling out the ole Miller shortly and will be MIG welding gussets(?) 1-1/2" high on top + across of transmission/transfer crossmember to re-inforce and increase rigidity -Would like to know if anyone has any fotos/specifications/drawings/measurements or any advice/comments they would like to share -

Mine is built w/ 2"x4" with a 3/4" TC case drop.The control arm tab where like 3-1/2" high and mounted flush on the bottom.If needed I can get some more pics posted!
