Crossmember bolt spins (broken weld?) - how to remove??

Well, looks like you have plenty of access to fix the cross member bolt problem! Of course, that's a problem in itself.

Been there, my jeep is a rust bucket too. Make sure those frame rails are in good shape and free of rot. If not, you might want to make this one your "parts jeep."

Yeah I've been a little worried about that - floor pan is one thing but frame is another. If they are a bit rotted would stiffeners be good enough?

drill it out to 7/16 an re tap to 7/15-14



Grade 8 hardware is easy to find at any ace hardware as well.
