Leaf SPring Question

I just got a pair of Rusty's full length AALs and I noticed that the ends have a rounded cut on them. How ever the center of the arc is not in line with the center of the spring. It's this way on both ends. See the pic below. Is this normal? Is this okay? If each spring was offset so that they would both be towards the inside or outside of the vehicle it ouldn't bother me so much. But since both AALs are cut exactly the same, they arer going to both be towards the same side.

Hopefully that made sense :)

I was thinking about taking an angle grinder and evening them out so they they were in the center like I think they should be.

Will the heat from doing this screw us the spring's temper?

Thanks!

I don't think the heat will screw up the spring's temper, but don't do it all at once, that way it won't get that hot. I agree that seems pretty weird, I've seen rounded off with it centered in the middle like you expected or just cut straight across and not rounded off at all, but I've never seen that way yet.

eeeeew.....

This is not the place to print your filthy pornography:spin3:
For symetry's sake i would even 'em out just to make sure it doesn't decide to kick itself out fom the rest of the pack.:)

I've installed Rusty's Full length AAL's ... both were rounded (centered) ... I'd grind them off ....
