RT Off Road Aluminum valve cover

I found a brand new RT Off Road valve cover on craigslist for a good price, mainly for bling, but also cuz I know that a solid machined cover should seal better. They list is for 1993-2001 XJ & generally all the later year 4.0 HO's. I have a 1997, which uses the torque limiting spacers & grommets, however the new cover doesn't have holes big enough to use them. The cover is a lot thicker, so even if I could use them, they wouldn't have the right effect. Does anyone have experience with this cover and can tell me if omitting the limiting spacers gave them good results?

Also, it uses a push type oil plug which is awful... really not pleased. You'd think if they went through the trouble of machining this thing they could add a thread for the factory plug.

Personally I'd pass, you lose to many features vs a stocker!
