Anyone know where these plugs go?
I have a 1992 Cherokee sport
been having a starting problem, i think one of these plugs is to the ignition but i cant figure out where any of them go...no apparent connections. 1. This blue plug fell down when i was working on the floor pan and it only has a few pins in it but looks like a 6 or 8 pin. It also comes off the harness from the firewall. http://i830.photobucket.com/albums/zz229/dark92xj/DSC01841.jpg 2. This little plug looks like a 2 or 4 pin that comes off the wire harness from the firewall also...its one of the only 2 plugs off the wire harness close to the firewall. http://i830.photobucket.com/albums/z...j/DSC01842.jpg 3. Last one. This plug actually comes out of the big wire harness that runs under the dash. Its a 4 pin but it only has 3 pins in the connector. The wires are White/Yellow, Green/Yellow, Yellow. http://i830.photobucket.com/albums/zz229/dark92xj/DSC01843.jpg Last edited by dark92xj; August 20th, 2010 at 09:11. Reason: pictures were all messed up |

Re: Anyone know where these plugs go?
your pictures don't line up with your post at all. The only one that has anything electrical in it is the second, which pictures the transfer case or transmission shift bezel illumination lamp.
Fix the pics and I'll take a look again ![]()

Try imageshack... easier to use and not so cluttered IMO.

Re: Anyone know where these plugs go?
I want to say the blue one is for the brake pedal switch but I'm not sure. I'll check my 91 FSM when I get home and see if it's close enough to be useful.
Next one not sure... accessory power maybe? Anywhere it goes in the fuse panel? Never even seen the last one ![]()

Re: Anyone know where these plugs go?
I know my brake pedal switch connectors are plugged in so it cant be that...
the second connector only reaches about 8" from the firewall so it doesnt go to the fuse panel last one i have no clue either lol |
