Somewhere there is another thread on this but I couldnt find it. I had the problem of the welded round nut breaking free of the weld.
Bolt and nut on the left.
I got a Vice-Grips on it but the round nut just spun inside the Vice-Grips. SO that wasnt working. I read on that other thread that the guy just went to a Fab shop and had them tack the nut back to the frame. I didnt want to do this.
SO, I Vice-Griped the nut as hard as i could, got my trusty MAPP gas and heated it up. Placed a 18m socket on my breaker bar and that got it out just nicely.
