Seat cushion interchangability

Are the front seat pad/covers from a 2001 interchangeable into a 1998? Found one online that's the wrong color but just need the pad. And while I'm at it, would the cushioning from a left seat interchange to the right? I get that the cover wouldn't because of the recline handle holes etc.
