I have a set 5.0 ( im pretty sure 19 LBS ) in a 89 renix. Can they be swapped into a 93 HO motor? Is there a range or limit for this swap?

Thanks
Kenny

Those Ford yellows are rated 19#@39psi and the the brown top injectors in your '93 are rated 21#@39psi. I'm sure the pcm can adapt to use 10% smaller injectors while driving in closed loop and part throttle below 3Krpm, but when it goes to OL during >75% throttle input those injectors won't give enough fuel(lean) unless you have a map adjuster to bump up the voltage some.

They have about 400 miles on them ( the yellow ones ) So I need to find a set of 21#... Thanks for the input.

I have them in my 95 with no problems. No spark knock or anything. I even passed CA smog with them in so it wasn't running lean in normal driving conditions. I did just add the upgraded pressure regulator that is recomended for use with them and it didn't seem to make any difference.
