2.5 head

My son bought a 96 4 cylinder to rebuild and swap out for his engine with 160K miles. We took off the head and want to take it to a machine shop for rebuilding. What is the price range to rebuild the head? I haven't done it in over 30 years. Are there any issues with rebuilding the heads?

Shouldn't be too bad. Last one I did was $150 (plane, guides and 3 angle grind)

Definately put in new guides. NEVER have them knurled.
