AW4 Issue

The transmission in my 2000 XJ is acting up. I removed and replaced all the milky transmission fluid, but the jeep will only drive a couple miles before it starts acting up. Once it acts up, it starts making noises. Once I shut off and restart it works again. This is what the noise sounds like. Anyone have an idea of this AW4 is toast?

Flexplate is a possibility. So is loose bands, etc.

If the fluid is "milky", that points to water intrusion. Water isn't lubricative, so that would be a problem and cause of noises.

I would do a DIY flush and fill- DO NOT take it to a quick lube place or anything of the sort.

What am I talking about? This: https://youtu.be/tvYczBfLmdc?t=428

That's true... But last time I looked, coolant was mostly water. ;)
