BBK 62mm throttle body?

Due to the time it's taken me to get back to my 2001 XJ's stroker build, I wound up with a Comp Cams 68-115-4 I bought from Barnett Performance that I can only return for store credit. So, I'm trying to burn ~$192 on something else.


Anyone have any experience with BBK's 62mm throttle body? I figure it couldn't hurt, but would love real-world feedback (or suggestions on what else I should spend the $192 on given that I have literally every part I need at this point aside from the custom cam I ordered from Comp).

I have been running one since I built my stroker, I certainly can't complain!

Any weird fitment issues? I've read various complaints in reviews but they all seem to be people who installed them on TJs (not sure exactly what years, though, so no insight into whether or not it's the older intake manifold design). What year is yours?

Mines a 2k with the intake opened up to 62mm.

My 2001 has run one for years, even before it was stroked.
No problems or issues, it was a perfect fit

Sweet deal, thanks for the info. Found a machine shop to bore out the manifold, so once Barnett processes my return I'll be ordering one.
