Re: Two years in the making...........

Very time consuming, wiring.

Added a wire for future starter trigger.

I went through the rat's nest, separated and sized and loomed every sensor wire.

I've still got a little more electrical to do, few more wires to loom and tighten up. Make up an hard-line for the MAP......bunch of odds and ends like that........

Stuck the key in, she fired right up, freak'n incredible!
That engine sat on an engine stand for two years.........I was asking myself, did I do this right? that right?

Guess so. :P

Re: Two years in the making...........

Since last post- I got the radiator support installed and the radiator.
I got the cam broke in. Engine runs great, just can't wait to drive it.

CAI installed.

Yesterday I decided to dig into the front lighting harness, it was a mess-

I just finished up the light bar and driving light harness-

Each connection has been soldered-

Front wiring is complete, I just need to remove the battery to clean up the wiring and organize it better-

Re: Two years in the making...........

All feeds are 10 gauge wire, including grounds. With exception to a few of the trigger wires.

I did wire the headlights in 12 gauge only because 10g would have been too big at the connectors.

Old extension cords are a great source for automotive wire, strip it out.

I used 10-4 service wire from Lowes, $2 per foot. Very pliable and easy to use.

Re: Two years in the making...........

Bye-bye, Brown Dog.

I got the poly mounts, vibes are INTOLERABLE!!

I found these, IIRC they are for a '97 Camry.

They will also allow me to lower the engine an inch, I need more clearance to get the hood closed.

Next week's project.

Right now it's the only one that fits.

I'll take another look at AEM and others..................

However, this one replaced the one that was there for 3 years, the other one did alright.

Check out amsoil too. They have some nice universal ones. They are dry filters, not crappy oiled gauze.
